C4FF was a UK-TECNET project which became part of the EU’s network of innovative projects – the EuroTecnet programme (1984-1996). C4FF has supported the establishment of education centre
s and universities in several countries; the last two major achievements were the establishment of two universities in Turkey.
We have supported UK schools for many years and instigated the training of CDT teachers in Wales and later throughout the UK early 1980s. It supported the Government initiatives such as WISE and GATE and coordinated the EFF’s school project known as CONNET.
We believe in cooperating with business and academia to provide the best education offer to children of all ages, with STEM subjects being a particular focus. With exciting development plans for our new centre in the heart of Kenilworth C4FF hope to start hosting our own STEM clubs and self development groups and activities for children and adults in the near future.

Bahcesehir 
University (UK Campus)
Bahcesehir UK was established by Centre for Factories of the Future (C4FF) Ltd and MarEdu as a private university at Companies House with the title of Bahcesehir University (UK campus) Limited on 25th of October 2016. C4FF and MarEdu have been involved in establishing universities in several countries and have developed a range of degrees including higher degrees with the provision for transfer onto MPhil/PhD programmes of studies.
As a results of establishing several universities, the two organisations have created a unique engineering and management faculty with unique characteristics introducing innovation in higher education.

Imagineering Foundation
Imagineering Foundation is a Charitable Organisation whose aim is to encourage children to pursue a career in engineering. They enthuse and nurture young engineers of the future through exploration of the worlds of engineering and technology through fun hands on STEAM activities.

STEMNET
STEMNET (the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network) is an independent charity which works with thousands of schools, colleges and STEM employers, to enable young people of all backgrounds and abilities to meet inspiring role models, understand real world applications of STEM subjects and experience hands-on STEM activities that motivate, inspire and bring learning and career opportunities to life.
Presently we have 650 STEM Ambassadors volunteering with young people in Coventry and Warwickshire and over 30,000 volunteers nationally.
STEMNET Purpose
To be a recognised leader in enabling all young people to achieve their potential in STEM by:
- Ensuring all young people are encouraged to understand the excitement and importance of STEM in their lives, and the career opportunities to which the STEM subjects can lead;

Practical Action
Practical action is an international development charity that uses science and technology to lift people out of poverty. Their schools team provides FREE resources to support teaching STEM Science and D & T at both primary and secondary level. Materials are set in a real world context that pupils find both engaging and motivating. Their most popular resources are their STEM challenges, hands-on activities where pupils STEM skills are put to the tests. They are used for transition, off timetable days, STEM and science clubs as well as within the school’s curriculum. Take a look at:
Stop the spread – pupils design, build and test a model of a hand washing device for a primary school in Kenya, plus produce educational materials to encourage pupils to wash their hands
Beat the Flood – After testing a variety of material for absorbency and strength pupils design, build and test a model of a flood-proof house.
Plastics challenge – Having explored the science behind plastics and recycling pupils design a product by reusing or recycling plastics.
Design for a better world – With a strong link to the Global Goals pupils design a product/system they feel will help us reach the Global Goal targets.
Floating Garden Challenge – Pupils consider how to grow crops even when lad s flooded , then design and build a model of a floating garden.
All challenges come complete with teacher’s notes, pupil worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, and posters free upon request

Fab Lab Coventry
Fab Lab Coventry, part of a global network of Fab Labs, is a small scale engineering and learning facility located in the heart of Coventry, partnered with Coventry University, Coventry City Council and University of Warwick. We are a community resource where people can come together to make “almost” anything, from 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, CNC milling, woodworking and electronics. Open Wednesday to Saturday to anyone wanting to make and offering a mixture of both free and fee paying classes for ages 8 and above on a weekly basis.

IET Faraday
The IET Faraday programme has been developed by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Europe’s largest professional organisation in the field. Our aim is to introduce a new generation to the sheer excitement of science, technology and engineering.
The IET Faraday resources are free and all available through our website. Our materials include cross-curricular classroom activities with accompanying film clips, online games and quizzes, as well as downloadable supporting files such as PowerPoint presentation and handouts that you can tailor to the needs of your students. We also run an annual competition – IET Faraday Challenge Days – as well as offer classroom posters and careers packs that you can order from us free of charge.
The IET Education 5-19 team runs an education service aimed at supporting teachers of science and technology and provides a range of curriculum support, resources and information for schools.
